Browne Psychology offers compassionate, client-centred psychological assessment and treatment across the lifespan. Our model of care is driven by empirically-validated and reliable psychometric outcome measures, and the most current therapeutic approaches in the scientific literature and practice space, creating a bespoke experience that is personalised and tailored to your individual needs.
Psychological treatment involves both talking therapies and experiential activities to achieve meaningful change. Psychologists do not prescribe medication, but we will work closely with your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician if medication is a part of your mental health treatment program.
While psychologists are trained to work with people who may have a mental illness, you do not have to have a mental illness to benefit from seeing a psychologist; early intervention and prevention are better than cure.
Sessions can be delivered face-to-face in-clinic, or utilising technology on your computer, tablet or mobile device, so you can access treatment when and where you need it.
Outreach to your home, school or workplace can also be arranged by appointment.
We are currently consulting from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, with some after-hours appointments available upon request.
